My mother spent her last years at Ahava in beautiful, meticulously clean surroundings with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, beautiful scenery and lots of love and compassion.
Ahava specialized in providing physical and social activities for her and the other residents. Designated, kid-friendly, family rooms were provided to accommodate members for visitation, which in our case included children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Ahava also routinely scheduled holiday activities that brought all family members of the residents together where we bonded through shared experiences.
My mother had superior care by loving and highly-skilled caregivers. She thrived emotionally, mentally (she maintained her mental acuity until her passing), and physically at Ahava. My family and I will never forget how well she was cared for by Claude and Daniela (owners) and their excellent team of caregivers.
Look no further for a new home for your loved one. Ahava is the best of the best. From patient care to cleanliness, this house is a 10. Claude, Daniella, Michelle, and The Optimal Health team take pride in taking care of our loved ones. Thank you to all of them from the bottom of my heart!

Claude and his entire staff took such great care of my grandmother for the last 2 years of her life. They loved her and she loved them. It was always clean and the food was nice as well! They had great activities and invited families to come out for every holiday party. When my grandmother was transitioning everyone was so comforting. They gave us the privacy we needed yet were there to support us during that time. They made sure that my grandmother was as comfortable as possible. I completely recommend the Ahava Group Home. They will take of your family like their own!

Ahava Group Home has given excellent, loving care to my father. My father had been to two very expensive, private care facilities prior to Ahava and neither came close to the great care my dad received. The place if very clean and very staffed. The owner takes a personal interest in all the patients and is always accessible for any questions or concerns. I live out of state (Illinois), it gave me peace of mind know my father was so well cared for there.

I have worked for this company for a long time. They treat their residents like family. They know everything about their residentsfrom them having a runny nose to their medical history. I have been a caregiver for over 16 years and never have seen an owner so involved in their residents lives. Claude and his wife have always been good to me and show appreciation. This place is a blessing, it is a small home setting that is kept clean, updated, and safe. The residents always have what they need and are very loved.
